Dr Tahira Jibeen

Dr. Tahira is a Registered Clinical Psychologist (Supervised Practice) of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Tahira helps clients to overcome their concerns and achieve their goals in a way that is respectful and considerate of their culture. Her compassionate approach in working  with clients facilitates positive change and growth.  These changes  are designed to improve clients’ overall health and success. 


At the Dr. Caffrey-Craig Clinic, Dr. Tahira’s current practice as a Clinical Psychologist (Supervised Practice) mainly focuses on providing psychological services to adults (17+)seeking psychological therapy for depression, anxiety, anger,  low self-esteem, OCD and PTSD.

Dr. Tahira listens, so that she may assimilate the client's complete story of their current challenges. She  takes the time to understand how her clients' thoughts and feelings impact  and restrict their progress  to enable them to lead a better life. Dr. Tahira then devises a plan with her clients to change the negative cycle so that they may  find the freedom and the life they desire. Together, Dr. Tahira and her clients review their progress to make sure that they are on track to reach their life goals. Dr. Tahira is multilingual being fluent in  Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Sikhi, and English. 


In 2010 Dr. Tahira earned a PhD in Applied Psychology at Punjab University, Pakistan. She then worked as an Academic Counselor in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for 8 years, focusing on immigrant stress, domestic violence, perceptions of autonomy in women, irrational beliefs, employee optimism. Previously Dr. Tahira worked as an Assistant  Professor of Psychology at Comsats University, Lahore, Pakistan. She also worked as an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Management and Technology.     Currently Dr. Tahira is completing clinical supervision under Dr. Olivera Bojic, who is a registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), and an Associate of the Dr. Caffrey-Craig Clinic.
